In Loving Memory of Stephen M. O'Grady

15th Anniversary

15 years ago, a bright future seemed certain for Stephen. He had just turned 30, owned a home and vacation condo, and was a well respected community leader and little league coach.

All of that ended on Sunday, September 26, 1999 when Stephen was killed by a drunken driver. Family, friends and the community were shocked and saddened at this senseless tragedy.

Although Stephen left us much too soon, friends and family continue to support the causes Stephen cared so deeply about. In Spring 2000 The Stephen M. O'Grady Foundation was founded. Since that time, we have donated over $183,000 to local youth causes, including:

* 175 scholarships totaling $141,000 to Salem Little League and Salem Boys & Girls Club Alumni;
* $32,250 to the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Salem;
* Supported other youth related charities that provide
assistance to Salem youth.

Thank you for remembering Stephen on his anniversary.
